At Beacon Light Counseling, my goal is to provide empathetic and trustworthy therapeutic services to individuals in need. I understand that life can be challenging and overwhelming at times. I am here to guide you through any obstacles you may face. I believe in the power of therapy to help you understand your strengths and vulnerabilities and ultimately develop more fulfillment in your life. My hope is that together we can create a more peaceful and hopeful future for you!
Services
I offer both virtual and walk and talk therapy, and I have been providing therapeutic services within the Charlotte area for over 8 years. My primary goal in our first session is to help you feel more positive and hopeful. I aim to create a relaxed environment free of judgement, where you can explore your life, vulnerabilities, and strengths. Together, we can build a trusting relationship and work towards finding more fulfillment and peace in your life.
I currently take most Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance plans and will soon be accepting Aetna insurance as well. My private pay rate is $150/session. Please inquire further should you have any questions about payment.

About Me

I created Beacon Light Counseling in order to support teen, young adult, and adult populations suffering from a variety of issues including (but not limited to):
ADHD
Anger
Anxiety
Depression
Family and interpersonal/romantic relationships
Life transitions
Men's issues and divorce
Trauma
I believe that building a trusting, judgment free, and relaxed atmosphere is essential for a successful therapeutic relationship. As each client is unique, I utilize several theoretical approaches including CBT, DBT, Client Centered, Solution Focused, and Trauma informed, to cater therapy to the individual needs of each client. I would be happy to set up a call so we can get to know each other prior to committing to a session!
